A Conversation with a Card

Do you ever find yourself in a conversation with someone and eventually you get to a point where you both look at each other and say, "how did we get on this topic?"  That's what happened with this card.  Other than the fact that in the end, I successfully followed the 4th wonderful Freshly Made Sketch, this card looks nothing like the one in my head when I started!

I ran the Basic Gray card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Folder halfway, flipped the card stock around, and ran it through again so I would have the texture on either side of the middle panel.  The ribbon on the tag is just Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon that I colored with a sponge dauber and some Rose Red ink.  In the end, I'm pretty happy with the direction of this conversation.  :-)

  1. Such a pretty card; I love those colors together! So nice of you to share a few tips; I haven't tried dyeing my ribbon, but using a dauber doesn't sound too difficult. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
